Avoid Taking A Taxi
If you’ve never traveled out of LAX before, or if it’s your first time visiting Disneyland, your first instinct might be to grab a taxi. You’re probably tired from a long flight, and all you really want to do is load your bags somewhere, get in a vehicle, and get to wherever it is that you want to go. You step out of LAX, and one of the first things you’ll see is the long line of taxis available.
Resist the temptation to take one of these taxis. By no means should a taxi be your first line of transportation to the Magic Kingdom. It definitely doesn’t have to be your only line of transportation.
Try Taking A Shuttle
Shuttles can be much better alternative to an expensive taxi, and the Disneyland shuttle from LAX is no exception. The shuttle offers everything you need to get from the airport to Disneyland that you would get from a taxi, but it features a lot more, too. The one-way shuttles are as easy to find as the taxis themselves, and they offer the same one-way route from the airport to whichever hotel near Disneyland that you might be staying at. The Disneyland shuttle from LAX has all the convenience and reliability that a taxi has. In a way, it’s even more convenient and reliable than a taxi, since it runs on a very strict schedule. The shuttle runs from LAX every hour on the hour.
The Disneyland shuttle also stands above a taxi for providing a much more luxurious and comfortable ride.
All of these things make a shuttle more preferable than a taxi, but perhaps nothing better distances the two than the price.
Getting Everything Possible Out Of A Shuttle
The comfort, convenience and luxury of a shuttle over a taxi are all great reasons, but perhaps the best reason is the price. The Disneyland shuttle is just cheaper than a taxi, and this is why people who are planning a vacation on a budget turn to the shuttles over and over again. You can even go online, and purchase tickets for the shuttle at extremely low prices. You can expect to pay around 20 dollars per adult (without a coupon) or 17 dollars per child between ages 3-11. Children under the age of 3 are allowed to travel for free.
You can even print out coupons, and save a few more dollars.
Enjoy The Ride!
